Some Photos From Back In The Day And Some Current Ones!
    Hey Everyone,

    Hey Everyone,

I ended up doing one of my hard-working task days recently and scanned in some old pictures from back in the day. I also added a few pics here which have been taken recently. Its hard to believe how time sure has gone by. It feels like the mid to late 90's were just yesterday. I didn't have a beard back then, but I already had the long hair. Speaking of which, as I told you guys before, I ended up straightening and relaxing my hair by getting a chemical treatment a couple of months ago. I am kind of glad that I did it in that it is now more manageable and I can wear it out hassle free. Normally hair is very thick and wavy so it frizzes and puffs up too much. Also for some of you big beard fans, you might be happy to see that I still have my beard very long and have not trimmed it since last Fall. I think its at a max point though in terms of getting longer.

Additional Tattoo Work Done On Me!
In terms of today's blog, I wanna show you some pictures I have gotten towards the newest additional tattoo work down on me. I decided to add an extension to the one I received back in June of 2007 which now reaches down to my elbow area. Sad to say, I have not had much good luck with the second extension. The tattoo artist who did my work did not do a very good job when I was down in Dallas, Texas over the Thanksgiving Holiday in that he did not match the ink level at all similar to the first tattoo. Plus, I think because I asked for a lot of detail and imagery, he just was not experienced enough to do the whole job. Therefore, a couple of weeks ago, I decided to go to local place called The Raven's Nest in Norwalk, CT where although I had never gotten a tattoo there before, I trusted the people because not only they were nice and always gave me good deals, they did most of the piercings that I have on me. The guy who did my work told me that not only he would go over the whole piece from top to bottom to match up the ink levels properly, but he would also shade and draw out the parts he and I both agreed needed serious help. Now here comes the long process, I have been back three times already to try and get this tattoo fixed, and I still have to go back again next week hopefully and finally finishing it. The first time I went in, he finished the bottom part, and also did the lining on the top part. However, he told me that he wanted to come back and finish the the rest of the tattoo two weeks later because he claimed that my skin was too tender and began to bleed too much in order to keep going. I waited two weeks, and when I came back, he claimed that I was still not healed enough to be worked on. I waited another week, and we finally started to get to work again, Although he did finish the top part, the bad news is that bottom had some problems where the ink looked like it got scratched out. The people working there claimed that me using vaseline and neosprin made things worse, and that you should only use a product called tattoo wax or ointment. Everyone tells me different things so its hard to know who is right and not. But this time, I will listen about using tattoo wax or ointment only and see where it goes. I just hope that next week will be the last week. I know its not because of money since he hasn't charged me extra, maybe he just cares about his customers a lot and has high standards on tattoos. I will post new pictures of the final outcome next week too.

    Christmas in Los Angeles!!!!
    Hey Everyone,

Here are some pictures I took when out in Los Angeles from Dec. 18th until Dec. 27th. I was really happy to get to see my old college buddy Vincent, and meet Peter, Dean, and George "Furr" all for the first time. I am not sure if my beard is at a max length point, but its now at its longest point right now than it has ever been. The last time I trimmed it was in August when I went to San Juan, Puerto Rico. These pics were taken in December of last year. It has been nice in that it keeps me warm during the CT winters although I have been getting more pirate jokes and its been harder to eat food or drink draft beer without washing my lips after I eat or drink. LOL

    Pictures From A Friend's Wedding!
    Hey Everyone,

I thought I would share some pics of me while I was down in San Juan, Puerto Rico last August of 2007. Usually these kind of vacations are not my cup of tea since it is a little too formal for my taste. But, I still had a good time, and the weather was excellent. Everyone most of all couldn't believe how I looked when dressed up!

Pictures From My First Tattoo Back in June 2007!!!
    Hey Everyone,

These pictures should have been posted a long time ago. And, Duke did have me on the fact that I have not been really posting much on the blogs other than MySpace so I think it was finally time to catch up after all of this time. Here are some pictures of the first tattoo I had ever got done. I have gotten some additional work done connecting to the piece here, but I am going to go back this friday in Norwalk, CT to get the rest of it finished. The problem was that I went two weeks ago to get work done, but since I need to match up the color correctly of the original piece of the first tattoo below since they are connected. Therefore, the guy needs to re-color and shade in the first tattoo I got. I trust he will do a good job. We wanted to do it all in one setting two weeks ago, but we couldn't because he claimed my skin was too tender and I was bleeding too much. So, it wasn't that I could take the pain. LOL
Anyway, back to the original story of the first tattoo. I got my first Tattoo back in June 2007 when I was out in Northern California. I have always wanted to get a tattoo, but there were a few things that held me back. The fact that they can be expensive, and I was unsure about the pain I would feel. I have to admit too that my parents were a factor in me deciding whether it would a good idea or not. However, as I got older, I realized that you only live once and if your gut instinct tells you to do it, then do it. The pain wasn't even that bad. I honestly think that getting piercings are more painful. Plus, the aftercare is so much more simpler on a tattoo. You just have to keep NeoSporin or Some sort of Vaseline on it for the first couple of weeks, and keep it out of the sun. Where as with piercings, you need to make sure to not bump it or get it infected. Since it is something that will stay with you for the rest of your life, its important to get something that is meaningful and not something which you just find on the wall of a Tattoo shop. I chose to have this Design made since it reflects me. The Long-Haired Bearded Man reflects a Shaman. The Wolf, Kettle with the Spiritual Healing Smoke, And The Shaman represent my connection with Shamanism which is a form of Paganism. The Irish Celtic Cross represents my Irish Heritage. This Cross has been adopted by many Christian and Catholic Symbols, but it is originally used by Paganism. The House and Background of Trees represent my connection with Nature. I have to thank my friends Duke And Rat for helping me out and supporting while getting my Tattoo. They got me a great deal with the Tattoo Artist JD. JD was also really cool, and I enjoyed having a guy I could relate to do work on me. I have to admit, I almost backed out due to me being nervous. If It weren't for JD, Duke, and Rat for telling me not to such a wus, I think I might have left. LOL But, now that I know that the pain is really not that bad, I am comfortable to have more Tattoos in the future. I am thinking a next one will be on my left upper arm focusing on my Asian Heritage. I am thinking a great Chinese Oil Painting.

    Hey Everyone,

    You are a Hippie

You are a total hippie. While you may not wear birks or smell of incense, you have the soul of a hippie.
You don't trust authority, and you do as you please. You're willing to take a stand, even when what you believe isn't popular.

You like to experiment with ideas, lifestyles, and different subcultures.
You always gravitate toward what's radical and subversive. Normal, mainstream culture doesn't really resonate with you.

    Yahoo Photo Album!!!
    Hey Everyone,

I just spent a long long time uploading my photos from my myspace account to my yahoo photo album which you can view through one of the links below. This way it would easier for those of you who don't have myspace accounts to see my photos without just looking at the slideshow on my myspace profile page. For those of you who do have myspace accounts, feel free to look at my photos, and if I am not your friend, feel free to send me a friend request. I have to say other than time consumption, the only thing that bothered me was the white spots that showed when you view my yahoo photos in slideshow form. My original photos on my hard drive don't have the white spots. I guess I am really picky about the technical aspects on my photos. I also included some photos from the slideshow which I scanned in yesterday. Wow, its hard to believe how much I have changed from the past. I thought it was kind of funny to see some of these pictures after they have been in closed boxes for years! It will be funny to see how people would react to these.

Need To Slim Down And The Internet Is Becoming Too Much Work!
Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

    Hey Everyone,

Before I sign off on here being that a Blog Post is the last thing I plan to do on the internet before heading off to the gym, I just wanted to say that this entry's topic is mainly about how I need to slim down on my weight because I feel as if I filled out too much, and that keeping up with people on the internet is becoming too much work.
To start off with the first topic, I am going to make another attempt at trying to slim down since I feel as if I have really filled out too much since college. I am not a diet queen nor do I cry like some other annoying people who claim that they are soooo fat and can't take a joke about anything. However, I have decided for health reasons and for the fact that Summer is coming up soon, I want to try and slim down. This means more trips to the gym I am a member of, more Yoga Practice, and most importantly watching what I eat. I have something to keep me motivated to since my friend David "AKA" YogaBear is planning to come and visit around the beginning of July, and I want to be in better shape for his visit. Because of the fact that he is a photographer like me, he wants to have pictures of me. I will take some pictures of him too of course. Therefore, I want to prepare for the shoot and do the classic thing of feeling like I look slimmer for the shoot. I am not that big, and I am able to hide it well, but I am around 235-240 lbs. and 6FT. 1 IN. and I could drop a little bit. So, today, the preparation begins with me heading to the gym and having better eating habits.
As far my other topic, I just wanted to say that I realize that I spend a lot of time on the internet, and although it has been fun meeting a lot of people and getting to see what others have been up who I already know, its becoming too much work. I don't know how some people manage to keep up with everyone so well. With all of the groups, chat blogs, and regular emails, I don't know how everyone can do this. Granted that I sometimes let my messages pile up on me and realize that it makes more work for me in the long run and if I just do my email everyday or at least every other day, this won't be as much of an issue. But still, to those of you who get upset because I don't write back immediately, please stop hassling or harassing me that I didn't write you back immediately. There needs to be a middle-ground. Its not right of me to not write back for days on end, but don't blow smoke up my ass just because I didn't write back that day or even the very next day.

    Looking Forward To The Summer!
    Hey Everyone,

As I sit here doing some online usual stuff before I head to bed, I was just thinking that I am pretty happy and content right now. Things are actually going quite well for once. The weather has gotten finally better, and I am really looking forward to an upcoming great rest of the Spring and new Summer. There is going to be a lot going on that's for sure. There quite a few bands playing in the Connecticut and New York that I would love to see. (Lamb Of God, Anders Manga, Cannibal Corpse, Tool, Black Label Society, Poison, and hopefully NIN again.) Along with that there is the Renaissance Faires and the Mermaid Parade. For all of you who know me, the Renaissance Faires are a must to go to. For someone like me who loves the Gothic, Medievel, and Renaissance Periods would never miss out on something like this. The Mermaid Parade is an event which is held down in New York City, NY around June which as art festival, tattoo convention, and side-show circus act all in one. Hopefully, Insectavora will be there. She is a tattoo woman who can eat fire, and blow it out as well. Like the Renaissance Faire, my friends and I get all dressed up and head out for a long day of hanging out with good friends, shopping, and drinking to top it all off. It shows that some people out there still appreciate art, performances, and adventure outside of just plain hometown bars. Nothing is wrong with those and I will also hanging out on the outdoor patios of places like Black Bear in Stamford and Norwalk, CT, but we all need to leave Stamford, CT once in awhile people!!! LOL What also wil be great this summer too would be having the chance to do some outdoor activites. It will be once time again to work on my tan and head to the beach to also swim too, have get togethers with my friends and do barbeques, trips to the upstate CT Casinos, Cape Cod Getaways, pool parties, playing some outdoor sports like Tennis and Bike Riding, and going out to some sporting events. Baseball season has started, and Soccer will be coming around soon too. My motorcycle course will start in the middle of June, and then I go for my license. If I get it on time praying that the damn Connecticut Community College doesn't cancel my classes for a third time!!!!, I will have the chance to go out and ride legally for once. As for leaving far away from the Stamford, CT area, the only trip I have planned is to go the San Francisco, CA in the end of May/Beginning of June. We will see what happens as the summer goes on. I do have two guests planning to come and see me both from Los Angeles, CA so far this Summer. One will come in the beginning of May. and the other one will come in the beginning of July. Hope that I can show them fun around here in one way or another. Also, as a closure, I wanted to say that I did stick to my New Year's Resolution. I feel a lot happier now, and even managed to fix some of the fall-outs I had had with some people. To the ones that didn't work so well, all I have to say is this, "The ball is in your court now, and I have done all what I can to try to repair things." "I can't simply control things which I can't control anymore." For once, I just don't care anymore, and feel chill and relaxed." There needs to be a middle-ground. I have found that you can't be a jerk to get others to respect you, but you also can't be a doormat to let others walk over you. Sometimes you just got to stick up for yourself. I am not thinking of myself and being self-centered anymore. As I sign off, here are some pictures of Lamb Of God. Hope to seem them in August!

    My New Guitar!!!
    Hey Everyone,

I just purchased my new guitar today at Daddy's Junky Music! I bought a Schecter Damien FR Satin Black Guitar courtesy of my friend Travesty who works there. Its about time that I took up playing the guitar seriously. I just hope that I will have time to balance out my other forms of artwork too. I can't neglect my Photography, Writing, and Graphics Media Work. Plus, along with work, school, and other daily life activities, Its going to be tough to make some practice time. However, I am willing to do it since they are all things that I enjoy. Plus, for those of you who know me well, I have not exactly had the best life in the last two to three years before last Fall 2006. Things are finally looking up now. I now am working, taking classes, and feel more creative and inspired. Life is back on track for the most part. Here is some of information below on the guitar that I just bought. Check out Daddy's Junky Music too. If you live in the Stamford, CT area, talk to my friend Travesty AKA Steve, he will be a good help to you. In other news, I will be finally buying a new Digital SLR camera too. I need to do some more research in terms of which one to buy, but I know it will be a Nikon. I have always trusted Nikons for professional use. Plus, I have many Nikon 35mm interchangable lenses for my Nikon N70 Camera which will be compatible with a New Nikon Digital SLR. Both the Guitar and Camera will be expensive investments, but they are so worth it in the long run for my benefit. Whoever used the term starving artist must have been rich before they bought all of their gear and supplies. LOL

Inside The Room Of Your Soul Survery!
    Hey Everyone,

I found this Survey from a friend on myspace. I took it,and it leaves me puzzled. Maybe you can take it too or give me some feedback on it.

What Your Soul Really Looks Like

You are quite expressive and thoughtful. You see the world in a way that others are blind to.

You are a grounded person, but you also leave room for imagination and dreams. Your feet may be on the ground, but you're head is in the clouds.

You believe that people see you as larger than life and important. While this is true, they also think you're a bit full of yourself.

Your near future is likely to be filled with great successes and accomplishments. You just need to figure out how to get there.

For you, falling in love is all about the adventure and uncertainty. You can only fall in love with someone who keeps you guessing.

Amon Amarth ( I Really Want To See These Guys!)
I thought I would post a happier blog on here since in my last one I seemed kind of down. I was just thinking about one of my favorite Viking Metal Bands AMON AMARTH, and that its too bad that I haven't gotten to see them yet live. It seems by looking at their website, they aren't touring the USA for quite some time. Damn, and it looks like I missed one of their shows which was very local to me. Its was right in New York City, NY back in December of 2006. Here are some pictures of them, and here is a link below if you want to learn more about them through their website. In my opinion, they are one of the best Viking Metal Bands out there which incorporates a lot of their sounds based on past history in their lyrics. What's also good is that they don't promote that False Racism which unfortunately many Viking Metal Bands do based on the fact that they feel the need to follow Hitler's False Codes. This is definitely a band for those who like the Renaissance, Middle Ages, Medieval, and Gothic Periods. Its also a band for those of you that like melodic folk music mixed in with some metal music.

A Letter I Have Been Sending Out To Many! (My New Years' Resolution!)
    Hello Everyone,

It has been so long since I posted anything let alone even been active here on livejournal. I thought I would do the good thing today and spend most of the day catching up on unanswered emails, postings, and most importantly send out this letter which I wrote to many people today. It seems as if since Thanksgiving, I haven't had too much luck with many people within my life. Many of my friends seemed to be pushing away from me because of the fact that I have become a downer or starting treating them like therapists. I began to realize that I let my problems become too much of a depression symptom, and something needed to be done about it. What finally had hit me hardest was when one of my friends had told me that they wanted nothing to do with me anymore, and that I had become self-centered. This really set things into a mode where I began to really think about what I have been acting like in the past few years. The truth is that it wasn't intentional, and sometimes we are unaware of our actions, but then it takes wake-up calls such as the harsh moment with my friend who really let me have it tell me something. The letter I wrote is stated below. I really do want to stick to what my New Year's Resolutions are for those of you who having been feeling somewhat distant from me, I hope we can have a fresh start. For those who have hung on strongly, I thank you for being so patient with me.

    Bob

Its been about a half a month since the 2007 year has started. I woke up today thinking about all of the people I have had fall-out periods with from the internet and my life in general. I had decided that there has been too much unnecessary drama and unhappiness in my life, and that it is time that I started to think of others and not just myself. This year I have made some New Year Resolutions, and a few of them I have made is that I am trying to not come on too strong, not make others feel uncomfortable, and just let things go with the flow. Yes, I have had my own issues of stress, but that does not mean I need to bring others down with me. In the long run, its important to just be comfortable with yourself. I think this all started about three to four years ago, I think that I might have come off as somewhat self-centered and needy so I think I killed the connection with some of you in the long run. All in all, my friends all seem to be interesting people and talented in your own ways. I guess that I let my own issues cause me to come on as too needy. But, you don't have to worry though, things are going to be different now. I am not expecting a miracle change and I don't know how things will be after you two read my email, but I knew that I had to get this out myself in order to make me feel less guilty. Sometimes, realizing what you need to change can be the best decision to help you in the long run.

Previous Vacation, Plans For The Upcoming Year, And New ArtWork!!!
    Hey Everyone,

I am gambling and praying again that this blog will post this time. I spent almost two hours writing this last one, and it failed to post. If it doesn't work this time, let's just say that my computer will have an early death sentence. Onto another note, I wanted to share with you people some upcoming information about myself, and the changes I plan to do by next Fall 2007. I have decided that it is time for a change once again in my life. I ultimately would like to move out of Stamford, CT by next Fall 2007. I have lived here most of my life, and only took off when I went to college. I moved back here in 2003 mainly because my mom unexpectedly passed away, and I was left a huge home full of memories. It was nice to return back to an atmosphere which I knew all too well, and be out of the hustle and bustle of a major city like New York City, NY and see the others who stuck around or returned to the area after being away like me too. I had a great support network. However, after three years having been past, and finally closing the chapter on selling my mom's estate after having major help from my brother, and the ones who helped out so much in physically cleaning and clearing up the house, (I thank all the ones who helped Kent and me out!), I feel like it is time to once venture out and see what the world has to offer. The ties have been let loose, and the world's an open oyster. Don't get me wrong, I had a great time growing up here for the most part, but in the long run Stamford, CT does not offer what I really need. I have some great friends who have stayed around here at least for now, but I need a city that offers more opportunities in the art field. Although the city is close to New York City, NY its become too expensive to live here. If I were to live somewhere expensive, I would rather live somewhere like New York City, NY or San Francisco where even though they are just as expensive, but they are more liberal and art cultured. For me, if I were to live somewhere which doesn't have the art culture, I would rather lives somewhere that does not cost very much. I hate to say it, but why live somewhere that costs so much, and aside from having some history is too expensive. For the corporate business man, Stamford, CT works out well. However, I am the kind of person who believes in potential growth as well as enjoying the simpler things in life. I will admit that I will miss it, but I can always come back for visits. And, if I end up in New Haven, CT or New York City, NY again, it will be even easier to visit. All in all, it will be also good to have a change away from an area where I have so much history and start a new one. So for right now, I have been working as well as taking some classes locally at Norwalk Community Tech. to prepare for applying to Grad School in the Fall of 2007. Yep, that's right, I decided that its time to get my Master's Degree. I have been out of school for three years already, and I don't mind going back AGAIN!!! LOL! This time though, I am going part-time while working. No more full-time school for me. We will see what happens, it all depends where I get in, and where the best financial situation will be. After all, I have to pay for school all by myself now. I am going to apply to schools in New York City, NY, San Francisco CA, Dallas, TX, Austin, TX, Myrtle Beach, SC, New Haven, CT and maybe Chicago, IL. These are all cities I like. Even if New Haven, CT and Myrtle Beach, SC are small, they are much less expensive than Stamford, CT and are more artsy cities. I never realized how unartsy of a city Stamford, CT was until I grew up. I went go visit Myrtle Beach, SC a couple of weeks ago, and I went to also go visit some good friends of mine up in Burlington, VT. I had a great time down in Myrtle Beach, SC. The weather was really nice, and if you love spending time on the beach, this is the place to be. You can get a great tan with the hot sun, while the wind blows to cool you off, and the water is perfect. Its nice and warm with strong a strong rip tide and current unlike getting into the water in San Francisco, CA or Stamford, CT where it is freezing and there is no rip tide or current. As for my trip to Burlington, VT, I had a nice time there too. Its a small, but yet artsy city so there is a lot of culture to it too. Although the cities surrounding the area has nothing but wilderness and farms for miles on end, you really do learn to appreciate nature for what it has to offer. I think that having quite a few colleges around the area help out keeping the art culture too. My friends will be getting married next month so I shall return again in a month. I also had something to take back with with too which will be somewhat symbolic. I got my right nipple pierced which surprisingly didn't hurt as much as I thought it would. Here are some pictures which I took on one of the beaches down in Myrtle Beach, SC. I think they came out pretty nicely. If you want to see some of the others or some pictures of my trip to Burlington, VT, take a look at my pictures section on MySpace if you have an account there. Who knows, maybe if I like Burlington, VT more in the long run, I might consider it as one the choices to make my new home. Please feel free to give feedback and leave your comments and opinions!

    Yahoo 360 and NYC Pride!
    Hey Everyone,

Its been some time since I have made a post so I felt that I just give the latest updates on me and what's been going on. For those of you who sent me add requests a couple of weeks on Yahoo 360, I finally decided to cave in and actually fill out my profile. A local friend sent me a request back in November 2005 trying to get me to fill out the profile, but with all the other profiles I have online, the Groups I belong too, and my email pals; I figured that it was not worth dealing with another program similar to MySpace and LiveJournal which I both have. With all that though, I have put my profile together and its up and going. But I swear, you internet addicts are really killing me with this! If I didn't love you all as much I did, I don't know where I would be without you in that many of you have have helped me so much in the last 3 to 4 years of meeting you when I first came online. The good news is that at least Yahoo 360 has a function where you can have your LiveJournal blogs transferred to your Yahoo 360 page. This does make it convenient , and I might not really need to write blogs for Yahoo 360 individually very often. http://360.yahoo.com/profile-gb7xI4E0bacGMH2BBrub is the link to my page. You can also find me as my Yahoo ID: evan285, Screen Name: BigBob1079
In other news, I went to NYC pride on Sunday with some friends. It looks like San Fran and NYC had there parades on the same day. The parade was nice, but I did treat it like more a day out in New York. I don't know about San Fran, but the NYC Pride parade is way too crowded to really meet new people so you are better off going with a group of friends and meeting up with people you already know. Its like walking through crowd after crowd, and the bars were packed to capacity. Its hard to believe that on an event like this, I rode the train home sober still. All in all, if you ever come to NYC for Pride, let me know so we could meet up. It would also be nice to go with Bears, Bikers, Long Hairs, or People into Leather Too. As many of you guys who don't follow the stereotypical Gay/Bi Community know, events like this aren't always easy to feel like you fit in. You older guys think that its hard for you, think about how its like for someone around my age who is even a more a rare breed.

What Are The Keys To Your Heart?
    The Keys to Your Heart

You are attracted to obedience and warmth.

In love, you feel the most alive when things are straight-forward, and you're told that you're loved.

You'd like to your lover to think you are stylish and alluring.

You would be forced to break up with someone who was ruthless, cold-blooded, and sarcastic.

Your ideal relationship is traditional. Without saying anything, both of you communicate with your hearts.

Your risk of cheating is zero. You care about society and morality. You would never break a commitment.

You think of marriage as something that will confine you. You are afraid of marriage.

In this moment, you think of love as something you thirst for. You'll do anything for love, but you won't fall for it easily.
